"Enjoyed ICE! "
Such a great hotel in a great location! Within minutes you will be at a main shopping mall but why go to the mall when there is so much to do at this resort?!!
Our room was wonderful which had a courtyard view. The Gaylord Hotel chain does an amazing job of entertaining families.
We visited during the Christmas break and there were many photo opportunities around the resort and our favorite activity was ICE! This is a indoor activity of many ice sculptures. It definitely was cold in there but they give you special coats to wear and at the end you get to slide down an ice slide that my girls love!!
We enjoyed brunch one morning and it was fabulous as well. I highly recommend the Gaylord Texan for families wanting to get away for a few nights!!

"Great Mexican Food."
Headed to the Gaylord, this past week.
Checked into our room. Great room rate.
Grabbed some good grub at the River Walk Cantina & Bar
The taco trio and some great tortilla soup.
Washed it down with one of the house margarita's.....yummy!
Then pushed myself away from the table for the walk-off.....food... that is.
Stuck our heads into a few of the stores.
Found a fabulous necklace at Carolyn Pollack. Look but don't touch.
At Willow Creek...we tried on some awesome boots.
Maybe Santa will put a pair under the tree for the boys.
We love to walk and there is plenty of areas to cruise inside & out.
We are definitely a walking family, especially after eating.
Walked through convention area, checking out the rooms for possibly a future convention site. Very clean and big. Good to know.
Headed back to the atrium area for the unbelievable decorations and lights.
After we had walked around the Alamo a couple of times....grin.....
we headed over to the Texan to relax in some comfy chairs.
On our way out we picked up some more info for a another room rate special.
Maybe another Friday night get-away. Yikes!
