We stayed a weekend here and had the BEST time ever.
They have a separate pool called the Sonoran Splash, which has a shallow wading pool for the young kids, and two waterslides. Also alongside the pool are a playground and a sandbox complete with trucks, buckets, shovels, and other kiddie amenities. There are plenty of towels and lounge chairs to spare.
There are two other pools as well. The main pool was very heated and even with a bit of chill outside we could swim comfortably then hop into the jacuzzi.
For the parents, they have babysitting service and they have an awesome spa. The best spa I have ever been to. The spa is complete with it's own pool, sauna, steam room, eucalyptus aromatherapy room, swedish shower, prickly pear lemonade, tea, coffee, cookies, food service, you name it, they have it. Prices are very expensive but very much worth it!
There are also awesome fitness classes and a fitness center.
The rooms are big with a bar/sink, tons of drawers and a large closet, two sinks, a separate tub & shower & toilet. The balconies are huge. They have flat screen TVs. Their restaurant and take out have a child's menu. You can order prickly pear margaritas!
Arizona is most busy in the non-summer months, and the rates here can get pretty high during those times. The price (to me at least) is worth it! Try to get a deal though, you will feel like a star, we did!
We love the extensive activities offered at the Fairmont Scottsdale including a children’s program, multiple swimming pools (one with 2 long, curvy slides), a lake where you can fish, golf, and a full spa. Mini-golf, Cracker Jax race cars, and a train park with a carousel are nearby. There are multiple restaurants onsite, in addition to other good options in the area. We opted for the casita room with plenty of space.
