"Embassy Suites, Lake Tahoe"
My husband and I stayed at the Lake Tahoe Embassy Suites and it was hands down the nicest Embassy Suites that we have ever stayed in! Beautiful lobby with very helpful staff. The rooms are very large with a living room & bedroom. There is a happy hour with snacks and drinks. In the morning there is a made to order breakfast with coffee & juice. There is also a beautiful restaurant inside. Harrahs is right next door and easy to walk to from the hotel.

"Decent hotel for families"
We stayed here during the July 4th holiday. So, needless to say, it was a very busy time. The hotel is in a good location - close (walking distance) to most shopping, attractions, casinos, etc. So this means that you can just put the kids in their strollers and walk to most places without having to drag them in and out of the car. The hotel has all rooms that have seperate bedrooms. This is good because it provides more space for the kids to run around. They have portable cribs that you can request. Kids also can eat their buffet breakfasts and managers snacks (great because they have pretzels and popcorn that the kids can munch on). They also have an indoor swimming pool that I saw a lot of kids using. The downside is that the hotel can be very loud all day and the rooms seem dark and dreary. Overall, I would say that this is a good hotel for families with little kids.

Location.
Located in South Lake Tahoe's Stateline neighborhood, this hotel is
close to Heavenly Ski Resort. Another area attraction is Zephyr
Cove Beach.
