"Great hotel, the price is right too!"
Love this resort. I stayed here pre-children and it was great, good energy and right for the price. After having children we came back to D-world and stayed at a different resort, but swung by for a visit to the French Quarter and think it's a very kid-friendly place. Much more "Disney" than it's Riverside counterpart, and much more family oriented. We'll be back here...
Big dragon pool slide in the middle will be exciting for young children, and a kiddie pool just for kids. Riverboat transport to some areas provides extra excitement for kids.

"Great Disney Moderate Resort"
Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is a Disney Moderate Resort very convenient to Magic Kingdom.
The rooms here are good size with 2 double beds making it optimal for families of 4. They offer a fridge in all the rooms and a wonderful pool known as Doubloon Lagoon with a Dragon waterslide that kids will love!
This resort is located along the river which offers free boat rides to Downtown Disney where you will find lots of shopping, dining and entertainment.
Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest in size of all Disney Moderate Resorts making it ideal for families with small children so you don't have to walk long distances to get to the bus stops, food court and pool.
