"Feels Like A Disney Deluxe Resort! "

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a Disney Moderate Resort on property at Walt Disney World.   This resort has recently completed room renovations with 2 queen beds, new carpet, new bedding, a divider that separates the bathroom from the bedroom area and flat screen tvs!  The moment I walked into our room at this resort, I felt like I was in a Disney Deluxe Room because the bedding was lush and the room size was fantastic. The rooms at this resort can accommodate up to 4 guests with 2 queen beds. This is the only Disney Moderate Resort that offer queen beds, all other Disney Moderate Resorts offer double beds!   I love the atmosphere at Coronado Springs. The pool is so fun with a mayan temple theme and a fun waterslide.  You can't beat the food court at this resort and it also offers a sit down restaurant. The restaurants at this resort are on the Disney Dining Plan so if you opt for this dining plan, you will eat well right at the resort!

"Huge hotel, Disney quality"

We have never been disappointed with Disney hotels. the grounds and rooms are always so well taken care of. We liked the marketplace food, lots of variety. The big pool is wonderful, perfect for kids, lots of space. The on drawback is how spread out the hotel is. If you are in a far building it can take forever to get to the lobby. And if you are near the main lobby building, you walk a long way to the main pool. This is bothersome to me with small children.

"would definitely stay here again"

When we went to Disneyworld, this is the hotel we stayed at. Its incredibly beautiful, with nice room (though a little small - but really, how much are you in your room at Disneyworld????), and an amazing pool. There was an arcade and play area that my then 5-year-old had so much fun at. We got some gorgeous pictures out by the lake just a few steps from our room. The staff is incredibly helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again. Its so quiet and peaceful.

"Coronado Springs"

This is a good hotel in the moderate category.  The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the hotel layout is a bit confusing and not the easiest to find your room.  Clean room and pretty theming.  May not be the most entertaining hotel for young children.

"Disney Coronado Springs Hotel"

This is a kid friendly hotel. Very relaxed and casual. The pool is big and has a nice slide for the kids. The food/restaraunts is open air and there is a wide variety to choose from. It is  also kid friendly. The kids can see what they are ordering behind the glass. The staff is outstanding. The rooms are standard and very clean.

"Nice pool for kids"

This is WDW's convention hotel destination.  Therefore, there is some good news and bad news about the hotel.  The good news is that it has more amenities than are usually found at the moderate price resorts.  For example, there are more frequent busses and a large, diverse food court.
The bad news is that the atmosphere can be very businesslike as most people are there for business functions.  Not the most popular resort for families.
Don't let that stop you!
Coronado has a south american theme.  They have a very cool Mayan temple pool, with play areas for the very young (splash zones) and older (swimming pool with slide).  They also have a lake where you can take a boat or rent paddle boats.
The food court is large and has a great selection of diverse types of food.  No one will go hungry - even picky eaters can find something good here.
The on-site restaurant, Maya Grill, is more upscale, but kids are welcome.  They combine traditional foods with not so familiar ingredients - but the results are yummy.

Description

Located in the Animal Kingdom park area of Disney.
Request a room nearest the food court or check-in. That will mean less walking to the things you want to do.
The food court has a weird system where a waiter brings you your drinks. Its nice since you don't have to carry your food and worry about spilling.
