"OMG, amazing!"
We stayed here for 3 nights for my brother in law's wedding. They rented out the whole facility, but I believe you can stay in just one room or as a group family vacation with a select package of rooms. This 11,500sq Gothic mansion is a sight to be seen! It's location offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and tree lines. Some of the rooms offer private jacuzzis (the kids would love this), and the breakfast severed every morning was something we all couldn't wait to wake up for! There is a communal kitchen with top of the line appliances, and lots of space for sitting down to a good book, or just taking in the sights. I believe the boys also made a jump ramp next to the house to take in the fresh powder. The facility is a short drive to Crested Butte Resort and the small village that offers awesome dinning options and nightlife.

Please Note:
The following are policies determined and enforced by the hotel:
- A two night minimum stay is requested. One night stays will incur a $50 cleaning fee
- A 50 percent deposit is required by the hotel and the cancellation policy states full refunds require 30 days notice and are subject to a $50 re booking fee. This deposit is subject to forfeiture with less than 30 day notice, unless guests re book at the time of cancellation for a date within six months. If this is the case, only the $50 re booking fee will apply
- All children should be 12 years or older
- Pets are not allowed
- Most rooms are designed for a maximum of two people. Additional guests must be registered and will be charged $50 per person per night
- Only Pearl and Treasury Master Chambers have sofa beds to accommodate four guests
- One parking space is allotted to each guestroom. Guests are requested to leave keys at the front desk in case cars are required to be moved
- The Retreat is a non smoking property. However a designated smoking area is provided outside
- The Retreat is only accessible by two flights of outdoor stairs and may be challenging for the elderly or those in a weakened physical condition
