"Not all the bells and whistles but still good!"
Courtyard hotels can range from super fancy to just nice. This is one that's just nice. No fancy restaurant attached, no dramatic lobby, just a nice family hotel. The rooms are updated and super clean. Rates are reasonable about $100 a night. Some of the courtyards start at $259 a night. The lobby is really nice with a nice cafe and lounge area. The lounge area has a fireplace and plenty of seating the cafe has a small buffet with plenty of tables. They have self serve free coffee in the lounge area. The Buffett is really small but includes all the important stuff. Omelet bar, assorted yogurt, cereal, donuts, and fruit. They also have self serve make it yourself waffles. The check in and out was easy and all the staff was polite and welcoming.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the location. It is off the 5 freeway with nothing around it but office buildings. 6 flags is about 5 minutes away and the main part of Valencia is also about 5 minutes away. But as for any pretty view or surrounding places to walk to there is none!
But if you are looking for a nice family hotel with a decent price tag and don't mind an uninteresting neighborhood. Then this is well worth it.
