"Our Family Had the PERFECT Stay!"
We had a pretty good drive to upstate New York- about 7 hours thanks to some road construction and a huge thunderstorm.
We finally rolled into our Country Inns and Suites just before 8 PM. It totally figures, not 5 minutes before we pulled in, Lily Bean dropped like a fly.
Check in was a breeze! I felt so welcomed from the minute I arrived. Not only was the desk clerk SO friendly and helpful, but I couldn't miss the smell of FRESHLY BAKED cookies wafting around the room! Just the pick-me-up for the weary travelers! As I checked in I learned a little more about my Country Inns and Suites... Flat panel tvs and dvd players in every room.. complimentary dvds you can borrow at the front desk... free wifi... free hot breakfast each morning... pool.. these are just things that I noticed within about 4 minutes of getting my room key! :) And yes, of course, Biker Bob grabbed a few cookies!
The next day we took a tour of Rochester- stopping at the lighthouse, the beach (picnic lunch!) and the George Eastman House.
We ended up back at our fabulous Country Inns and Suites for a few hours so that Lily Bean (and Biker Bob!) could take naps. We decided that one of our favorite things about this hotel is the coffee that's always available! There's hot water as well, with hot chocolate and tea. It's the perfect pick-me-up and so nice to know that it's always there! (We of course also enjoyed a couple of freshly baked cookies that were waiting in the lobby!)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spacious enough for a then 11 month old to explore safely. She had her room, we had ours- perfect.
Everything was clean and modern. The staff was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again!
