"A nice place to stay while in the Metroplex"

The Metroplex is massive. If you are looking to stay near DFW airport, then this might be the place for you.
As with every Country Inn, this one served a tasty complimentary breakfast (and free homemade cookies!!!)  which is a huge perk when traveling with children.  They can eat their bowl of cereal from the comfort of the room while watching cartoons or down in the breakfast room with the other guests.  
What kid doesn’t want to swim in a pool when they stay at a hotel?  This Country Inn has an indoor pool which is great for when the weather won’t cooperate.  There is also a fitness center for all you crazy people who like to exercise while on vacation.
We stayed in a standard room which suited our family of four just fine but I think next time we would upgrade to a suite so we could have room to spread out.  As with every Country Inn I have stayed at, the beds were incredibly comfortable. The only complaint I have about this property is that they only had one crib available and we have two kids. I would like to see them invest a little bit more money to provide this service to their customers who don’t want to have to lug around a portacrib on their travels.  Another great feature of this property is that it is an entirely non-smoking property. I HATE to get into my room and be stifled by the smell of stale cigarette smoke. I certainly don't want to subject my children to that either.

If you have time, take a look at their Read it and Return library. Its such a great idea a wonderful way to get some free reading done while on vacation. If you are a news junkie like me, take advantage of that free USA Today!
The free high speed internet was a HUGE PLUS for me since I am a travel writer and the internet is my lifeline. Nothing bugs me more than a fancy hotel that charges $20 for internet. Wireless internet is always complimentary for guests at Country Inns and Suites properties.  
Overall I give this hotel 5 stars as a family friendly hotel because it really does fit the needs of the average family extremely well and does it with friendly staff and quality amenities. If you have plans to be in Lewisville, definitely consider this hotel.
