The second time I stayed in Chicago my friends and I decided to book our hotel room here. It is a short distance, 1 mile, from the shopping district on Michigan Ave and in a good part of town. There were many great restaurants in the area and close to the L-train. The beds were the luxurious, but they were perfect for a good nights rest. I like hotels that have amenities but not over the top because we are there to see the city not the hotel room. It is clean and the staff is wonderful. The trip was taken about 3 years back so I apologize if anything has changed since then. I would book another hotel room there when I go back. Also, we went out many nights and walked home in the dark, 4 college girls, and never had any issues or were hassled in this area so there is peace of mind by staying in this area.
