"So much to do & your don't even have to leave the resort!"
Traveling with kids age 4 and 6 can be challenging keep them entertained but at this resort we ran out of time! They have scheduled activities throughout the day, the kids haven't stopped talking about Pockets the Clown (with face painting). The resort is steps from the beach and with the beach cabana and all the beach equipment including boogie boards makes the beach is hassle free! They also have a ping pong table, air hockey and game room. The courtyard is a great place to hang out and relax. We stayed in the hotel and the rooms have been recently renovated and are so nice, they did a great job! Legoland is close and we went to Seaworld by taking the train which the kids loved!

It's helpfulLocation. The Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, located in the coastal village of Carlsbad, Calif., offers ocean views and steps down to the rolling surf. The quaint village of Carlsbad features antique shops, over 25 restaurants and gift shops within walking distance less than one quarter mile away. The Carlsbad Mineral Spa is one third mile from the resort. A favorite family attraction, LEGOLAND, is three miles from the property. Barnstorming Adventures offers open cockpit biplane rides approximately seven miles away. The Del Mar Race Track offers thoroughbred racing 15 miles from the resort.
Guestrooms. The Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort offers 62 guestrooms and 132 condos. Mini fridges, coffeemakers, televisions and VCRs are provided in all units. Select rooms feature kitchenettes, fireplaces, balconies and jetted tubs. Condos offer dining areas, living rooms with sofa beds, full kitchens and balconies or patios.
Expert Tip. The activities center at the resort offers daily scheduled activities, including Tai Chi, karaoke, water aerobics, chair massages, yoga classes, crafts, art displays, family movie nights, Jazzy Sunday Socials, and Casino Nights.
