"Fun, Affordable, Clean"
My family has stayed at Captains Quarters a few times and have been very pleased. The rooms are clean and there are plenty of things to keep your family busy. The pools and lazy river are great, but the bowling alley is a wonderful added bonus. Instead of piling in the car and finding something to do in the evening, just walk on down to the bowling alley in the hotel for a fun night!

"Only if you have kids"
The captains quarters is a nice family friendly resort with lots of thing to keep the kiddos entertained. They have lots of pools and lazy rivers and the even have a bowling alley. If you have kids this is a great place to go but if you want to relax find a different hotel. Theres no quiet time here, you always hear kids screaming and kids running the halls. The staff is spread out and the room I had was dusty and old smelling. This is ok for the money but i wont be returning any time soon. Also the parking deck is tight and had a hard time navigating through it.

"Great Hotel, Great Price!"
My family is used to staying in nicer hotels such as Embassy Suites or Hilton, so at first I was hesitant to book such an inexpensive suite with an ocean view. What a great deal for the money! We were on the 12th floor in a clean room. The hotel provided cribs for our kids too. This hotel has many fun pools and the lazy river is so relaxing! We went in September and the weather was perfect and the beach was not full. Would highly recommend for an inexpensive, fun vacation!

neighborhood include Family Kingdom Amusement Park and Grand
Strand. Additional attractions include Broadway at the Beach.
