"Park the car and stay awhile"

We were pleasantly surprised by this Best Western.  We chose it because it allows pets.  We didn't realize that it has everything we would need to not have to get back in the car to find food or entertainment after a long day of driving.  As an extra bonus, it includes a breakfast buffet (that was okay but not great) and had an on-site restaurant.  The restaurant had a good kids' menu, and a great range of selections for adults.  Prices were reasonable, and there was even a band playing in the bar area in the evening.  This biggest hit with the kids will be the pool.  The shallow end starts at 2 feet, so even the little guys will be able to touch the bottom.  The only drawback was that it was too cold for the family to last longer than 15 minutes, even though it was an indoor pool.  The rooms were clean and quiet, and the hotel is located right off the highway but outside of Scranton (actually in Dunmore) so there is not a ton of traffic.  Perfect for a stopover on a road trip!
