"Great view, great value!"
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was very clean and felt like a luxury room with a cozy fireplace. This is the perfect weekend getaway hotel. We enjoyed walking out of our hotel for strolls along Moonstone Beach. Although we had our son (who was 9 months old at the time) with us, it was a very romantic setting. He slept comfortably with us in our bed. There is a good, affordable restaurant with the same great ocean view called Moonstone Bar and Grill within walking distance from the hotel and within a 5-10 minute drive along Main Street, there are many different types of restaurants as well. Try Linn's, famous for their ollalieberry offerings. It's also pretty kid friendly. We liked the food from Wild Ginger, but the place is quaint and small...didn't feel comfortable bringing our little one there to eat in the restaurant, so we ordered take out and brought it back to our room. The hotel is also close to Hearst Castle.

"Excellent value along the beach"
You’ll find spacious rooms, many with fireplaces and oceanview patios. Other highlights include refrigerators, coffeemakers, complimentary continental breakfast, a heated pool, and a whirlpool. Excellent value along the beach.
