"Hey, Pamper the kids, too!"
Though it caters to an adult crowd (golf, spa, fine dining), kids can enjoy a little luxury now and then too. And this is the place for it. Chocolates on the pillow from the complementary turn down service, a large bathtub with scented salts, plush towels, kid friendly television programs... what's not to love?
We actually took this trip solo for a wedding- top notch event planning and catering by the way- but could easily return with the kids. The only drawbacks would be that there are only king or two double rooms available. So if you've got a tot that likes to join you in bed, plan accordingly. There also isn't any on-site babysitting, but the concierge can connect you with local professionals. Oh and watch out for the "refreshment center"... you'll get charged 6 bucks for those gummy bears if you just bump into them.
Charlotte has lots for a family to do and is easy to navigate. Shopping, entertainment, amusements, dining, and museums abound. It's worth it to have your own ground transportation while visiting. The Ballantyne offers complementary valet parking to make it even easier.
In addition to the lush amenities, you'll find the staff at Ballantyne exceptional and helpful. Everyone has a genuine smile and pays attention to all the details. You won't regret your visit to this resort.
