First and foremost, it is a beautiful estate with gorgeous architecture and a great history. The restaurants and bar on the property were quite nice and quite frankly, delivered all of your needs without having to leave the property. The service was exemplary and my room was lovely. Internet is complimentary, which was a plus. The pools are expansive and have a real old-Hollywood feel. They also feature multiple Jacuzzi's and a swim up bar. I'm told that the SPA experience is fantastic. For kids, it is great. The pools and water slide is spot on. There is a shaded play area for kids that, quite frankly, rivals many community parks. There are also several putting areas, a croquet game, and a giant chess set.
