"Fun!"
Spent several nights at this hotel for a family wedding---a wonderful mingling of adult convenience, comfort and a kid-friendly environment. Spacious, fun decor in each room. Excellent restaurant in the hotel (great chowder!), and eateries around the hotel within walking distance (including In'n'out Burgers, seafood, etc.). The valet parking was friendly, but a little "inconvenient", although necessary for the location.

"Great location for families"
The Argonaut is a comfortable stay and the location of the hotel is unbeatable. A plethora of activities await outside the hotel footsteps for you and the family. You can choose to go to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradhelli Square, Fort Mason, and more on a whim. Public transportation is easily accessible as well from this area to the other parts of the city. The hotel's service staff is quite helpful and are well trained to deal with the needs of families.

"A boutique hotel on the waterfront"
A boutique hotel on the waterfront. Kids can step up to the steamer trunk front desk and choose a welcoming gift from the treasure chest. Families like the rooms set up for four; fresh nautical decor and bay views; flat-screen TVs, DVD/CD players, Nintendo, Internet access; fitness center; dogs are welcome.
Some rooms have original brick walls, a separate parlor and bedroom, spa tubs, and brass telescopes; “tall” rooms have extra-long beds. The Neptune’s Adventure package includes a double queen room, full breakfast for four, cable car passes, gift for kids, Pier 39 discounts, and more. With Starbucks next door, Hyde Street Pier and the cable car turnaround across the street, and the National Historical Maritime Park just out the door, you can’t beat this location.
