The Medora Musical is a different show each year, a mix of singing, dancing, and fun in an outdoor amphitheatre with a little Theodore Roosevelt history thrown in.
My kids loved every minute of it. I was concerned that it would be hard for them to enjoy it, since it starts at 8:30 Mountain time, which is 9:30 for those of used to Central, but they did just fine. Staying right in Medora instead of driving 20-30 miles to a nearby town would be a good idea, though.
Also, it gets cool in the evenings, so wear warm clothes and bring blankets with you. We wore jackets over sweatshirts in addition to being wrapped in blankets.
If you can, go on a Wednesday when kids are free and there are special kids' activities going on around town as well.
The Medora Musical was the kids' favorite part of our 8-day trip around North Dakota.
Mosi is great!Kids learn while having lots of fun. There is an Imax Dome Theater and a Planetarium. At the Imax Theater my family always watches one about the Coral Reef. They have games like High Wire Bicycle and the Gulf Coast Hurricane which is personally one of my favorites. There is also a Butterfly Garden which is another of my favorites. There is also Kids in Charge.Mosi is a very kids safe and fun enviormaent!
We spent two full days at Busch Gardens. The variety of activities is overwhelming.
The rollercoasters are legendary. The water rides keep you cool and the theater shows are top notch.
After you do all these things, take the train through the animal park and visit the Clydesdales in the barn.
Our favorite attraction was the jeep race through the animal park. It was great fun.
The staff goes out of their way to be courteous and helpful. We went in June and rarely had to wait very long in attraction lines. Our family enjoyed Busch Gardens every bit as much as the Disney parks!
The Florida Aquarium is lots of fun for the family. There are all types of different animals. There are tons of fish, there are also sharks. You see alot of new animals and learn slot about them. Its educational and very fun! There are many activities like swimming with the fish. Also Dive with the Sharks. There is so much to do!
The Mote was a nice morning activity when we were in Sarasota. We went through all the sea life exhibits and then went out to the "petting" tank where you can touch stingrays. Then we went across the street to watch the dolphin trainers at work.
This is not the largest aquarium we have visited, but has great exhibits and a top notch volunteer staff. Every staff member we met was very friendly and helpful.
A don't miss is the cafe(great burgers!) and the short movie about sharks.
