Family entertainment center with mini-golf, arcade games, go karts, and more.
This is the place to go in Yuma for family fun, parties, or even weddings. My family of seven (kids ages 1-10) stopped by for some fun on a Friday evening and had a great time among the party goers.
The décor here is great. A pirate statue greets you as you walk in. The building looks like it was built from parts left around an old factory. The walls are decorated with old pipes and gears, put creatively together to create cool patterns and designs. The handles on the doors are giant wrenches. Even the bathrooms have tires for mirror frames and water that flows into metal barrels for the sinks.
There is a lot for families to enjoy here including go karts, two 18-hole mini golf courses, an arcade, batting cages, a play structure, and more. The mini-golf courses are spread across the grounds outside. They are spacious, well maintained, and well-lit at night. One course is designed with the theme of Old Yuma. It is fun to golf around miniature versions of the sights you see around town, including the Ocean to Ocean bridge. The play structure is in the middle of the restaurant, which is nice if your kids get restless while you’re eating. The arcade is also inside, just beside the restaurant and has a good variety of games.
My kids all had a blast on the Go Karts, even though they all rode as passengers. There is no height requirement and there are boosters to let shorter kids reach the pedals. BUT the ride operators advised us that they wouldn’t they their kids drive by themselves if they couldn’t control the vehicle well because of safety issues, so we opted to have them ride as passengers. Since we had 4 kids to drive, my husband and I needed to drive twice while the other 2 waited. I said we would wait in line again but the ride operators said we wouldn’t need to since we already had our place in line. He let the kids sit in chairs beside the track while they waited. I really appreciated their honest opinions and helpfulness.
All of the staff members were as kind and friendly as the Go Kart operators. They truly appeared to have our enjoyment as their top priority.
Z Fun Factory is a great place to go with families. I would recommend it to any families in the Yuma area.
