"Great Family Getaway"

Looking for a change from the hotels?  Then this is it!  If you camp, they have tent and RV sites.  Don't camp, like me?  They have great cabins to rent!  It requires a bit more work than staying in a hotel, you will need to pack your linens, but so worth it.  

Some cabins have kitchens which helps to cut down on the costs of eating out.  I'm unsure about how quickly the regular campsites book up, but if renting a cabin, be sure to plan in advance as they tend to book pretty quick.  We have stayed in both the Deluxe and Cottage cabins and both are perfect with 3 kids in tow.  

They have bathroom facilities for you actual campers that were kept clean and were conveniently located.  

My kids love to chill out with a campfire making S'Mores at night.  Campfire wood and all the smores fixings can be purchased in the camp store.  This is a great way to wind down and reconnect as a family!  If we were in a hotel we'd be plugged into the TV at night.

They have a great playground, game room, pool and waterpark, and LOTS of planned activities to keep the kids busy such as movie nights, arts and crafts, hayrides and more.  When choosing when to go be sure to check out their special themed weekends.

They advertise a lake for fishing but we found it to be a weedy, green murky mess so don't plan on making this a highlight of the weekend.  But with so many other happenings in the campground you won't even miss this!

This is a short drive to attractions such as Dutch Wonderland, outlet shopping, Stasburg Railroad and of course great dining!

The owners and staff are great too!
