"Good for small children"

My children always liked to come here when they were less than 5.  There is a great shopping area, dress up, house area, sandbox, pirate ship, art room, and more.  We inevitably ended up wearing tap shoes and tapping our hearts out!  Great activity for a rainy or snowy day, or to have a playdate.

"Educational and FUN!"

My kids love the WOW Museum. They move from one activity to the next, trying very hard to walk and not run (no running is a rule at WOW) in their excitement! I appreciate how the staff at WOW incorporate new activities and displays throughout the year. We're a homeschooling family, so we really appreciate WOW as a great source of interactive play and exploration.

"Fun although could do with a good clean"

Although this place is a little on the dirty side, it's super fun for the kids who don't seem the least bit bothered about germs. There is a huge pirate ship as you walk in the door which provided endless entertainment and imaginative play for my boys. I felt like it was pretty well priced for the amount of things to do.

"Hands on fun!"

This museum has great hands on activities for kids of all ages, especially young kids!  From their website: Our Museum includes educational and dramatic play exhibits geared for children ages 1-11 years in an 8,000 square foot area. Art displays, Arts & crafts, music, dance, theater, wind energy, air & gravity exhibits, dinosaurs, a pirate ship & lighthouse, trains, play house, grocery store, credit union, sand castle, build-it-yourself house, bubbles, ball maze and a reading area are regular exhibits; this year we have installed another permanent exhibit on Light and Shadows. All day admission, free adults and a bring your own snack area all make our Museum family and group friendly.

My girls' favorite activity by far is the bubble chamber! What a unique experience!  This museum is the most like our beloved Kidspace Museum in California that we have found in Colorado. About an hour and a half north of Colorado Springs, so we make it an all day activity. If it were closer, we'd absolutely have a membership!!
