World Of Disney Store, in Downtown Disney Marketplace, is the largest Disney character store in Walt Disney World Resort—and on Earth!
Its not a world of disney but a magical world of disney. It is a collection of many collectibles. My kid wants me to buy the whole stuff. She loves every character mickey, minnie and so on.So its a heavy budget project for me.Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is very unique place. It is like a dream come true for the kids. They dress the kids as disney princess, its awesome. The apparel is also nice. Its a very enjoyable place.
Anything Disney-related, they have it! Mouse-shaped cookie cutter? Yes! Minnie and Mickey Salt and Pepper Shakers? Absolutely! Seriously, in this store you will find anything you could possibly imagine "Disney-fied".
I didn't want to go in because I thought my child would want everything, but it was me who had an armload of goods!
If you are looking for something to buy the kids for any of their favorite Disney characters, then go to the World of Disney Store. It has everything you could possibly want to buy for your kids, a family member, or even yourself! You can really get lost in that store looking at all the unique things that you aren't going to find at the Disney store in the mall, so check it out while you are there! Of course it's a bit pricey, but that's to be expected!
Anything that you want from Disney, this is the place to find it. You won't find huge discounts, but if you can't find it at your local Disney Store this one will have it. A very busy place with lots of kids everywhere! Great place to shop. Kids love it.
What else would you expect from a Disney Store at Disney World? We were able to find anything our 3 year old and 5 year old daughters could want. Amazing section of Princess items. We didn't buy much at the park and did all of our shopping at the World of Disney on the way out of Disney.
My husband and I went here with our son (who was 7 months old at the time) and my parents. A friend of ours was getting married there and I was in the wedding. It was in May, so it was very hot and it rained every day for about half an hour. I do not think I would go there again with an infant. It was so hot that our son got overheated easily and a couple times someone had to back to the hotel room with him so he could cool off.
Also, for being a place for families, it is not very stroller friendly. There are very few places you can take your stroller into (most buildings have a stroller parking area outside of them). I realize they take up a lot of room but I was not comfortable just leaving all my stuff sitting out. They do have nice baby changing stations in the parks though. I can't remember where, but at least one park had a room for feeding that had highchairs, a microwave, rocking chairs, and several changing tables. I did think that was nice.
I would go back, but I think I would wait until preschool age or older.
This is the greatest place. Ever. I cannot imagine that there are still people in this world (or at least in the US) that have not been to Disney World. I have been there numerous times and have plans to continue going back again, and again, and again. There is no better feeling in the world then to run around, care-free, and spend your day focused on only one thing - being a kid again and having fun. Okay, so that's two things. But really, what more could you want?!
This is the Disney store beyond compare! You can definitley shop til you drop in this huge - huge store. It is almost it's own mall. Regardless of what you are looking for, you will find it, and usually with a Mickey Mouse face on it! All price ranges can be found.
Disney World is like a dream come true. I forever recommend taking your kids there if you ever get the chance. Just to see the looks of awe and amazement on my kids faces was so worth it for me. Everyone that works in the park was so friendly and the characters were willing to stop and play with every kid that walked by. There are many rest places throughout the park and fun age appropriate rides for everyone!
We have been to disney world about 7 times and have the same wonderful experience each time. The people who work there make disney magical. Everyone is so friendly. Disney tries to make it an affordable experience for families from all income levels. We have done it cheap and we have done it expensive... and I admit, we enjoyed ourselves more when we spent more money.
Orlando is a fun amazing place to go with all ages. I have been to FL. at least 3 times since I was 9yr old. and about to take my husband now and my two kids soon. There is so much to do like a all day even alot of walking and fun foods cute disney friends all over just if your plaining on going please save alot of $ cuz for a whole week will do you in . its so fun everyone can be a kid again enjoy epcot magic kingdom animal kingdom mgm studios now Hollywood resort its a blast
Disney World is my favorite place on Earth! I have been going since I was a little girl- and love taking my family! The characters are great- except maybe Jafar ;)- This is endless amounts of fun- even for me! The kids will love you forever- so create a once in a lifetime experience!
One of my favorite spots in the World of Disney store is the Bibbid Bobbidi Boutique where you can get the ultimate "makeover". You can look like your favorite Princess with just nails and hair "makeover" or you can get the whole look including a dress and photo session.
If you do not get a chance to do the BBB "makeover", stop by and pick up the pink phone at the register in the World of Disney Princess area. You will hear the Fairy Godmother talk to you - it is very cute! Fun little free magic!
My family and relatives went here a few summers ago and I must say, it was quite enjoyable. There is so much to do, it is almost impossible to see it all without extended stay. Being Disney World, there are a lot of people, but the streets are wide and one does not feel squished. Totally recommend.
For our family vacation, we went to disney world in orlando fla. What a blast. We stayed on the resort which was so wonderful. They had a food court and a bus system that took you to all of the parks. The longest we had to wait for a bus was 20 min and the bus schedular gave us a fast pass for any ride in the park for our long wait. We can wait to go back. Kids ages are 10 and 7.
This place is so much fun it's unbelievable. It has everything you could want from Disney merchandise and is mostly reasonably priced. This is where we did most of our souvenier shopping on our Disneyworld trip. It is a big open place with lots of things to choose from. A great place.
I can't believe there are no reviews for this place! We spent nearly an entire day in this store. It has everything a Disney nut could ask for all under one roof! I spent hours looking at all the snow globes and expensive jewelry. They also have a lot of cheaper Disney World merchandise and a gorgeous Princess room filled with outfits for little girls. This place is definetly not to be missed if you go to Walt Disney World! We ended up spending only about 200 bucks here but most of it was for christmas presents for our son.!
