Revealing Salem's Greatest 300 Year Old Mysteries! The untold stories of
1692 told through an historically accurate live presentation followed by a guided tour downstairs where you will walk through the forest, meet Tituba in Rev. Parris's kitchen, visit Old Salem Village and view 15 life size scenes depicting these stories. These and many other stories of Witch Times are revealed at the Witch History Museum. Open every day April through November 10am to 5pm. (Open some nights during Haunted Happenings in October.)
The mannequins scared the younger kids and freaked out our teenager. They were very dirty from lack of upkeep and some had even fallen over. We got a three museum pass for each of us, which cost almost $100, but the information was the exact same information presented differently in both the Witch History and Witch Dungeon. We also went to the Salem Witch Museum, which again had the same Witch information.
In the three pack was included the New England Pirate Museum. That was the only one that we enjoyed.
It was fun even though it was embellished slightly. I really enjoyed the "creepy" atmosphere of it. If you are looking for a fun spooky trip, this is it! We went with a 6 year old and while he was very brave, he still needed to hold Mom's hand. He did have fun, just a little spooked!
Open April through end of November, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours during Haunted Happenings. Prices: $7 for adults, $5 for children 4 to 13. Witch trial stories are told through a historically accurate live presentation.
Much better in October than any other time, but be prepared for crowds (especially school crowds during the week).
