"safe and fun"
Our family loves this park, we go here and visit my hubby sister, theres tons of play equiptment and rec areas, we have had several bitrhdays here becuase it always seems to have plenty of room! Its a nice,safe park! Your kids will love it too! OH and they have grills too! :)

"Our Family Favorite"
I love this park. It is my favorite park in Hickory.Our family has hosted several Bday parties at this location and our guests loved every one. There is equipment for all ages. The shleter is large enough for reunions or small gatherings. I always feel safe with my children here. Great park right behind Crawdad Stadium. Great location.

"Stay late!"
Located beside the LP Frans Stadium (also known as The Crawdads Stadium) this park has a picnic shelter, picnic tables and grills, restrooms and an abundance of swings, slides and other play structures. You can take a short walk through the woods. Winkler Park is also equipped with lights so you don't have to go home when the sun starts sinking below the horizon. Each time we've been the park has been clean. It's our park of choice in the Hickory area!
