My children love Wildcat Den and so do the grown-ups. It has so many neat areas to hike around, and it also has a working grist mill and an old school house to explore. Our whole family takes multiple trips there a year and we also take our visiting friends there for a fun hiking adventure.
We went to this park with our children (ages 8, 6, 4, and 1). The kids loved hiking the trails at this small park. The trails are a bit rugged which is what they loved. There are also two very small caves that they could enter. There is also a grist mill and some period buildings around the grist mill that one can explore. Our kids preferred the hiking to the grist mill.
