I was torn between four and five stars for the following reasons: the safari part is really amazing, however, the experience is pricey and the little zoo/petting zoo part is disappointing.
This place is divided into two sections: the little zoo/petting zoo area (which is where you purchase your tickets, feed, and where the restrooms and cafe are) and the safari part.
We did the safari part first and opted to stay in our car vs going on a tour on their bus (it's the same safari route, but the bus means someone else is driving and the guide gives you info about the animals you see and feed). The safari part is amazing-animals come up to your car and your feed them. In the safari section you'll see/feed a wide range of animals from deer, camel, zebra, emus, bison, yaks, mules, and more. In this area you'll also drive by the tiger, lion, rhino, and other wildcats areas (they are behind security cages-so now feeding or contact, but the safari road goes right by them). We loved identifying the animals from the chart and info they give you with your tickets and feeding them. If your children are easily intimidated by animals getting too close then skip this event--the animals are used to being fed by the cars, so they do not hesitate to stick their tongues in the windows and press against the car.
The petting zoo/zoo area is the walk-about section where you see a wolf, turtles, monkeys, ligers, goats, cows, sheep, pigs, and a few other animals. This part is small and the zoo part is sidewalked so you could take a stroller easily enoough. The petting zoo part is unpaved for a section then gravel/dirt the rest of the way. My 8 yr old boy enjoyed this part, but I found it disappointing in size.
The restrooms were not up to my picky standards, but the grounds overall were clean and well kept. We didn't try the cafe since we had eaten breakfast right before going.
For the experience, I think it was worth the money, but my son loves to learn about animals and enjoyed feeding animals we normally don't get to at our local petting zoo.
