Children ages 4 and up can enjoy a unique private birthday party at Whitaker Center.
Big Science Birthdays include:
• Experienced and entertaining party host.
• A private Big Science Theatre show. Choose from performances of Super Cold Science, It's Shocking, BodyWorks, or Birthday with Stuffee®
• All-day exhibit floor admission (Harsco Science Center pass) for all guests.
• Admission to one film in Select Medical IMAX® Theater during the party. (Full length feature films carry an additional charge)
• Refreshments include liquid nitrogen ice cream and a dry ice fruit punch bowl. Paper products (table cloths, cups, plates, napkins and utensils) are provided.
•A small gift from Big Science Theatre for the Birthday child.

"Fun with the Family"
The Whitaker Center describes its theme as “science through the arts,” making science fun through dance, film, music, and more. The center includes a state-of-the-art Select Medical IMAX 3-D movie theater, Hansco Science Center, and a Broadway-size Sunoco Performance theater, which hosts many concerts and performances. The Hansco Science Center includes nine permanent exhibits that explore physical science, natural science, life science, and technology. If you park at Strawberry Square, you can enter the Whitaker Center by way of an enclosed walkway.
