The Wetlands is a nice smaller waterpark. It has a few sides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. There's also a kiddie area for little ones. It's not huge but it has enough to keep the kids entertained for the afternoon and it's not as expensive as the big parks. If you go after 3 pm, tickets are 1/2 off! Makes it super affordable. They have food available at a fair price a s well. I like the fact that it's not a huge park because I can keep an eye on the kids easier.
The best way to cool off in this part of the
state is at the Wetlands Water Park, just outside of town. The park features water slides, flumes, and a lazy river where you can float
the day away while sunning atop an inner tube. Boardwalk-style nature trails go out over the
adjacent natural wetlands area. Turn the kids loose, get yourself a nice cool drink, and
then sit back and relax.
