Who doesn't like to spend a hot Florida day at a water park? My kids loved it there almost better than the dry rides. My 9 year old really enjoyed that he could make it on the "bigger kid slides" and went on anything his height allowed him to go on! My 5 year old totally loved the wave pool. I couldn't really get her out of it, which I guess reminded her of the beach where she can go as deep as she wanted without plunging into a pool! Overall it was a great experience!
This water park seems small from the outside, but has many things to explore. It seems to have discounted days during the weekdays. They have the best wave pool and attractions though not as many as the disney parks. It is a great way to spend time with the kids, mainly if your kids are over the age of eight.
LOVE this waterpark! I agree, its kind of for older kids, but they do have a really fun kids area. They have more mild, family friend type slides, as well as super scary! Like the one that DROPS you onto the slide! They also have a HUGE wave pool, fun & relaxing for the whole family! Fun shops & yummy food as well.
I definitely think this is a place for older children as in age 9-pre teens. I think those younger than 9 years of age might be a tad 'scary' b/c drowning can happen even to those who are really careful. Anyway, the slides here are quite tall and are really fun/thrilling to go onto. I feel this is the ideal place to have your older child have a birthday party at....his/her friends would have fun. This park is insanely easy to find as there are many signs leading to Wet-n-wild esp since Wet-n-Wild is very nearby popular Orlando amusements parks like Disneyworld.
Located right in the center of Orlando, Wet N Wild is very easy to get to and find! What a great waterpark. It is fun for the whole family, really offers something for everyone. From a lazy river to fast waterslides to a tide pool. Perfect for every age and is the perfect go to park on hot Florida days. Good price for tickets as well!
We chose to have our oldest son babysat the day we hit wet and wild, back when he was our only kid. It was a blast, but it would have been changed if we had brought him along. There are kid friendly rides there to choose from. We just chose to make it an anniversary date. There are so many rides and activities to choose from your day will be beyond filled. If you don't mind spending more on food they have plenty of good choices to choose from and much more in the vicinity outside of the gates too.
Summer in Florida is very hot as many of you know; Wet 'n' Wild is the place to go in the summer! My entire family loves going there. It is not just a place for teenagers or adults, there are kid areas too! It is nice to go and cool off and just take a load off from work. There are so many rides to choose from, most people do not even get to ride all of the rides. The lines are usually very long though so be very patient.
A great way to cool off in Orlando and escape the theme parks. It's located on the same exit as Universal Studios and is very easy to find. The kids will have a blast. The lines can be fairly long at time so plan to go on an off day...like monday or tuesday.
One of the most popular and spectacular of the region’s many water parks, it boasts multi-passenger rides, a miniature park for kiddies, high-speed slides, a surf pool, and cable-pulled knee-boarding. Hydra Fighter lets riders create their own momentum by shooting water guns, but the line to get on moves painfully slow. Pools are heated in cold weather.
