A huge waterpark for kids of all ages. The usual chutes and slides and roaring rapids for the older kids. Two large children’s areas – Happy Harbor and Splash Island for the younger set.  There are no height requirements for Thunderbay Wave Pool, Leisure Lagoon or Shipwreck Cove.  However, children Under 48” must wear a lifejacket and be accompanied by an adult in the Wavepool and Shipwreck Cove.  With adult supervision children under 45” tall may ride Lazee River and Cyclone Zone.  Also children 42” to 45” tall may ride Runaway Raft Ride if accompanied by an adult.

"Bad Experience...would never go back"

Horrible place. 20 minutes to buy an Ice cream cone. no joke!! No credit card readers, that's right, they write your credit card number on a little paper slip and send you on your way. This is the 21st century people!! get with the times. 1 beer $6, 1 slice of pizza with chips and no drink $8. This place is ridiculous. Not to mention that one of their water slides CUT my skin in four places. One of the black slides under daredevils drop. I thought I was going so fast it was a heat burn, but come to find out it broke my skin all over my back!! Cabana waitress was the nicest person there, everyone else seemed to hate their job due to lack in technology and efficiency. I would never be back top this place and advise anyone to avoid at all cost. As a great alternative, Dolly Parton's Splash Country is 1000 times better. Eventually, some little 6 year old kid is gonna go down that slide and it's gonna cut his back bad enough to open a lawsuit. When that day happens, I hope this place gets shutdown or at least new owners.

"Best water park in NC!"

Emerald Pointe is probably the best water park for hundreds of miles in NC and they have rides for all ages.  I can't even begin to list all the slides and rivers and pools they have.  They have the 7 story high slide for the dare devils and the little kiddie rides as well.  This is an awesome place to spend a hot summer day with the kids and the adults can have a blast too!  Not too expensive if you're a NC credit union member or something like that also.

"Great Summer Vacation Spot"

Wet N' Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park is a great place to cool down in summer, if you live nearby.  I wouldn't go out far of my way to visit, but if you need a break from the house with the kids, this is a great place.  There are a variety of water slides and activities for all ages.  From shallow kiddie pools with short water slides to the Twin Twisters and Daredevil Drop , there's something for everyone.

"Fun but pricey."

I guess for the area, and for North Carolina, this would be the water park to attend! Many different levels of fun for yourself and your children. The admission is rather high, something you'd expect from a chain Water Park, but it's a fun outing for the whole family. Activities include a wave pool, zipline, slides and a sunken ship smack in the middle of a pool!

"Just ok"

For the amount of money they charge I would much rather go to carowinds. The park isn't very big and they haven't had anything new open up in a while, its the same ol same ol. The park is getting a little run down in my opinion and it is always super crowded and crazy during the summer months, you cant enjoy yourself when they let in boatloads of people.

"Get in on Some Action "

Those who want to get in on some action themselves and cool off during the warm summer months can head to Wet ’n Wild Emerald Pointe. Splash and play here at the Carolinas’ largest water park, which offers twenty-two water slides, rides, and attractions, in addition to an exciting Sky Coaster ride that lets you fly suspended under a giant arch. The Sky Coaster requires an additional charge.

"Wet N Wild"

We love Wet N Wild! We don't go very often, but when we do go it is great! Our kids always refer to it as 'going to the beach'! It's a great family adventure. With the kids zone, the kids rides and even the wave pool there is plenty for the kids to enjoy. As adults we can enjoy the half pipe, the tube rides and so much more. As a family we enjoy taking a few breaks in the lazy river.
They have a lot there for the price! We can go just us parents or we can take our kids.

"Fun for all ages"

Everyone needs to cool off in the summertime with some fun water activities. Wet N' Wild Emerald Pointe offers fun for all ages. The park has some great wild slides for the daring, some fun slides with intertubes to ride as a family, and a great tot area for the little ones. The tot's play area has a small slide to slide alone, another slide to ride alone or with assistance. Water swings and sprinklers to run through are great. I like to hang out in the huge wave pool while the children explore the slides. The park employs a great number of lifeguards, who are very impressive. They keep their focus on the visitors, and enforce the rules for safety issues. The cost of admission and food in the park is a little pricey without a discount or coupon. Plan to make a day of your visit to to get your money's worth.

"Great way to cool off"

Get the season pass, much cheaper than joining a pool for the year. Great things for every age. Make a day of it by packing your lunch and using the picnic area or rent a cabana and have your own personal waiter/ess. Fun esciting rides and slides, a great way to cool off on a hot summer day!

"Some Wet Fun"

We went before the busy season started. My son loved the wading pool for kids. I was not impressed with one of the lifeguards. My son slipped on the slippery pool bottom and went under, I had to go get him and he was right in front of the lifeguard. My neighbors have gotten eye infections from the adult wave pool.

"waterpark"

When living close by its is wonderful to take the family to. Food is a little expensive, but take a cooler with you leave it either in the car or rental space. There are not a whole lot of activites for under 3, but there are plenty of older kids/adult rides to enjoy. They even have a rain pass/check available if you have paid for the day but it gets rained out. Season Passes are the best way to go, but you can get discounts around town as well.

"Wonderful Water Fun"

We have season passes to Wet N Wild this year and it was an GREAT investment!!  For the price of the Super Saver pass, it paid for itself in 2 visits!  There have been a few weeks where we have gone twice just in a week.  The kiddie play area is wonderful with water play, swings, and even little water slides for toddlers.  I suggest getting there as soon as they open for good chairs, or wait and go around 2 when some of the day camp groups are leaving.

"For the price, go to Carowinds"

If you are an avid water lover (and your kids are too), then by all means head out to Emerald Pointe Water Park.  However, for the cost of admission - you're better off spending a day at Carowinds.  Like all amusement parks, the cost of food is astronomical, which is to be expected.  The rides are fun, but better suited for older kids, ages 8+.

"Fun, Fun, Fun!"

If your family loves water, and being out doors, then this water park is the destination for you! I have not been here with my little one yet, but have been begging my husband to take us.  Hopefully next summer, but if your a family on a budget one time might be all you can afford.  It's pricey but if you stay the day it's well worth the money. I have loads of fun every time I go.

"Wet & Wild Emerald Point"

It was SOOOOOOOOOO much fun!! This place is great fun for the family! Lots of fun attractions for the older kids and younger kids! The slides are fun and the waiting times weren't horrible! The concession were pricey and the food wasn't great. There were lots of shady areas to get out of the sun and plenty of chairs to relax.

"Emerald Pointe"

This was a lot of fun.  Dr. Von Dark's Tunnel of Terror made me scream like a little girl.  There were a lot of rides that I could ride with my son so he was a little braver.  My daughter the daredevil, on the other hand, rode all of the really scarey rides and even convinced me to get on the aforementioned Tunnel of Terror.  There is a something here for everyone!
