West Newport Park

"Near the beach playgrounds along PCH"

West Newport Park is visible as you drive on Pacific Coast Highway from Huntington Beach to Newport Beach.  There are hotels and restaurants on your left and a long and narrow park to your right.  It's loud and there's traffic on the nearby, but you're protected by a wall.

This park is only a block away from the beach.  One playground is more appropriate for older kids (fun climber, 2 bench swings, 2 baby swings) and the second is near a restroom building and good for kids of all ages (shade cover, traditional playground, 2 bench swings, 2 baby swings).  There is parking along the street and also some dedicated parking lots.
