One-mile-long West Dennis Beach, bordering a flat salt marsh and several tidal streams, is a busy place in the summer. The eastern end is for Dennis residents only; the rest of it is taken over by families who park in the enormous parking lot—so big that it rarely fills (unusual for a good Cape beach). Enjoy the beach and its many facilities—good swimming, lots of lifeguard stations, restrooms, showers, play areas with swing sets, and a snack bar.
