My husband and I spent a Saturday here with our 18 month old daughter. She loved the sprinkle section, although I thought the water was cold. The wave pool was great for us since tubes were included. We weren't interested in the slides, but they had a steady flow of people using them. Another nice feature just outside the park was an adorable wooden playscape that our young daughter enjoyed running on while we sat under shaded trees.
I've taken my son to Wave Country a few times while in TN. HE LOVES IT! There are 3 slides (2 large and 1 small), a wave pool, and a pool meant for smaller kids, though the buckets of dropping water attract bigger kids as well. I wouldn't call it fancy, but who needs fancy - fun is fun.... And this fun won't bust your pocketbook. It costs less than a movie and you can spend the whole day....... :-) P.S Go on the web site and you can get coupons!!
We are fans of Dollywood and splash country, but nothing can beat spending $12 and never having to wait in line. We LOVED wave country!! The price was low and we never had to wait more than 4 or 5 minutes in line for anything. There were TONS of lifeguards but not crowded at all.... We even went on a Saturday...Best kept secret in Nashville!!
