A new aquatic park just opened at Tibbets Brook Park to replace the old swimming pool. *Tibbets Brook Aquatic park is only open to Westchester residents.*
If you have a Westchester County Park Pass, you can bring up to 2 adult guests and 5 kids , otherwise if you don't have a pass, each person must show Westchester resident ID.
Enjoy the spray playground for kids of all ages, in-pool basketball and volleyball for some cool competition, lap lanes for getting in a daily swim workout, and of course, the signature “lazy river” that inspired the re-naming of this fabulous destination as “The Brook.”
At Tibbets there is a big lazy river that you can sit in a tube and let the relaxing current pull you along the river. But can be a little crazy with all the kids swimming in it. There is a water play play area for the smaller kids to play in. Inside the lazy river there is a lap pool a vollyball pool and a basketball pool. And if you do not want to go through the lazy river to get to the lap pool ,there is a bridge you can walk over to it if you do not want to go in the lazy river to get to it.The brand new slides are awesome but you might half to wait on the line. I think they should add some more space for people to sit.The park closes at 6:30 and the snack bar closes at 5:15. So go check it out and have fun.
