"Pricey, but a fun night at the park!"

If you love baseball, this will certainly not disappoint.  This is a beautiful stadium, especially at night.  All the seats are great, and I would recommend the chili cheese nachos.  Also, taking the metro in is definitely the best plan!  The crowd after the game is pretty bad, but they get you on the metro quickly.  Finally, buy water BEFORE you go in the park! Enjoy!

"Very Family Friendly"

great place to watch the nation's baseball team; great location. Take Metro, do not drive. If you do drive, parking garage is very convenient but like $20+ or something. Free parking is minimal. Cheap seats are in the outfield. Excellent food choices around the stadium.

"Baseball in D.C."

The Washington Nationals baseball team plays in D.C. at the Nationals Park.  The new stadium is beautiful with lots of great seats and good food.  We take the Metro in to the game and purchase tickets online or at the stadium.  This is a very fun place to watch major league baseball.

"America's Pastime in our nation's capital!"

What better place to watch America's pastime but in our Nation's capital?!  The baseball stadium is located close to the Metro and that is probably the easiest way to go if your home base is near the metro.  Put enough money on your pass to at least get back on the metro because after the game the crowds are atrocious.  When we went, I had to hold my 3yo for 30m while we were pushed around waiting to buy metro passes.  If you buy a round trip ticket then you won't have to wait in those lines.  We have seen several games and the best spot for kids is the top level as close to the front row as possible.  These spots don't always fill up so your kids can mill around a little bit.  The worst seats are the first level in the back rows.  You are seated under an overhang and the game is difficult to watch.  Plus you have the added bonus of being packed in like sardines so your kids can't go anywhere.  If you will be in town on a Sunday, plan to attend the game then because it is Family FunDays.  The kids can run the bases if you stick around after the game, before the game they can get player signatures and they have special ticket options.  If you want to purchase a hat, etc. wait until after the game and buy one from the booths outside of the stadium...they get super cheap after the game!
