"a real studio tour"

If you want a real studio tour… this is the one for you!  The tour sizes are very intimate (due to the golf cart size) and are defiantly worth the money. This is not an amusement park ride. It is a real opportunity to get as close to the action as possible…without being in the business. Star sightings are frequent, but you have to keep your eyes open. They also offer “private” tours. If you have a child or family member that is really interested in the business…this is a great opportunity. Yes the private tours are pricey…but you will have an unforgettable experience. They will often take you into other interesting areas like Foley, the commissary (for lunch), sound editing, extra sound stages etc…
The guides are trained with massive amounts of knowledge and always appreciate a good, interested crowd…

"Fun for everyone."

I took my nephews on this tour when our families took a trip out to California. They're big Harry Potter fans so they were excited when they found out we were going on a tour of WB Studios. The tour is pretty cool because the tram isn't super huge so it feels really personal and the tour guides take time to get to know you. They'll even make certain stops or detours depending on what the tram riders like/dislike. The oldest nephew wants to be an actor when he grows up so he really enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes look at the props and locations of some iconic shows.

During the tour we stopped at the museum where they got to look around at all the Harry Potter memorabilia and even get put into different houses by the sorting hat from the Harry Potter movies. Overall it was an amazing experience and they had a blast getting to see behind the scenes.

My tip is to get to know the driver (maybe sit in the first row of seats). If you talk to the driver he will be more likely to show you some of the stuff that relates to your favorite movies or shows. Most of our tram was Gilmore Girl fans so our guide showed us everything on the lot and in the studios concerning the Gilmore Girls series.

"Fun and educational!"

A fun and educational experience for school-age children and up.  We were taken around the studio on a tram and shown various stages, houses, and neighborhoods of TV and movies.  The guide explained how they make rain and snow in movies (hint- you can eat it).  We saw the set of Friends, the Harry Potter Museum, the Batmobile, etc.

"Fun with the Family"

This is an insider’s look at a very busy and famous motion picture and television studio—past and present. The tour begins with a short film highlighting the movies and television shows created by Warner Bros. talent. Then, via electric tour carts to the Warner Bros. Museum and from the museum, you visit back-lot sets, sound-stages, and craft/production shops. Routes change from day to day to accommodate production on the lot, so no two tours are exactly alike. Tours last approximately two and a half hours.

"The best tour for movie enthusiasts"

My dad and I went on this tour when i was in college - admittedly, its been awhile.  However, I think it was the hands-down best tour I've ever been on.  It was like having a personal page take you around live movie sets.  Very, very cool.  we spoke with people all over the Warner Brothers lot, walked on real sets of current shows, saw actors being filmed, and stunts being set up.  It was really fantastic.
There is a minimum age requirement - I believe it is 13, but can't recall, so it is worth it to call in advance.  The tour was relatively cheap, in comparisson.  Its a timed tour - I think ours was 2 hours, and you have to stay with your guide the whole time.  Cameras are allowed - they will tell you when filming is not allowed.  Tour groups are small, so you get lots of time to ask questions - and a chance they will get answered.  Tour guides decide the route based on what the tour group indicates they want to see and based on what sets are open to them.  Therefore, no two tours are the same.
Highly recommended tour.
