This place is beautiful. The place is surrounded by a huge garden. You can tour the house. There is art made of coral. It's right along the water, too where there is a small "ship". A small walk away from the Science museum, too.
It allows the curious a peek at the lifestyles of Miami’s early rich and famous. Chicago
industrialist James Deering built this Italian palace and its gardens in 1916. Its thirty-four
rooms of richly ornate furnishings and artwork date from the fifteenth to the nineteenth centuries. Guests can wander the home’s second floor and gardens on their own.

We visited Vizcaya museum a few years ago before the baby. It has something for everyone. Colonial architecture, art, fun gardens to wander around and some amazing views along the waterfront. Some of the maze gardens will probably be a lot of fun for the 5-14 crowd too.
