Versailles State Park

"Total relaxation camping"

This is a wondeful state park only a couple of hours from Indianapolis or Cincinnatti.  It will make a truly a relaxing weekend getaway.  The short drive means your arrive fresh and ready to do... well do nothing really.  Great fishing from the lake edge or put you boat in at the ramp.  The campgrounds are secluded, shady and ready for your campfire and smores.  There is a pool with great toddler area; waterslide for older kids and the main pool is has substantial area of only 3'6" so even younger swimmers feel confident.  You can hike on the trails, or bring your mountain bike or horse for dedicated trails.  Plenty of playgrounds in the campgrounds and day areas.  We like campground loop B or C as the sites are flatter than A. Park entry fee is $7 per car but valid your entire stay.
