So many varieties of tulips you wouldn't even believe it, all organized in rows for viewing. The photo ops are abundant! Admission is very reasonable. If you're visiting during the Tulip Time Festival the tulips will be at their peak. There is plenty of parking.
You have to have your camera! Durring peak tulip season April/May depending on the year, you will see more tulips here than you can imagine!
We still have photos of me and my sister as little girls visiting Veldheers, and they are beautiful! little kids lost in a sea of beautiful tulips. Now my kids have had the same experience.
Lots of fun, wooden shoes and the entire Dutch tradition alive and well in Holland, MI.
Did you know Michigan had a tulip farm? Well it does and it's in Holland. Veldheers plants over five million tulips for you to walk through and enjoy each year. They have lots of Dutch things such as handmade wooden shoes. Just don't pick the tulips because you will have to pay a hefty fine :)
