"One of the best Farmers Market in the area"

I was amazed for being in Vancouver, WA how great this market is.  This place opens for the summer and always has something to eat and see.  The later you go in the day the busier it gets but well worth the trip.  It is a good family visit with all the samples and food you can buy for the kids.

Always reasonable priced produce and local products.  I enjoy feeding my kids local and with produce and eggs the sale it also helps the local farmers.

Also it is dog friendly.  They have water bowls everywhere for your dogs and vendors that give them samples.  Got to get your dog the puppy cupcakes mine devour them.

"First choice (Portland Eat your Heart Out)"

I live in Portland but happily drive to downtown Vancouver's Esther Short Park to attend the farmer's market (Saturday OR Sunday).  What makes this unique is the perfect placement in Esther Short Park and the wonderful play structure.  Wiggly toddlers can get a break on the playground.  Follow it up with a treat from one of the vendors at the market; enjoy it as you listen to a concert or one of the other entertainers.  The market also includes arts & crafts.  Frequently there are events in park near the auditorium.  And after the market you are just blocks from fun including the fantastic toystore, Kazoodles, and a variety of restaurants.
