"Nice playground."
The playground seems clean and well kept. It is handy to have a place for the kids to play when festivals and art shows are going on. Even during big events I've never seen it very crowded. They even have movies at night on occasion during the summer.

"peaceful walk along the water"
Havre de Grace itself is beautiful! The Promenade is such a peaceful little walk for a family. The boardwalk allows you to walk along the edge of the water and watch the boats and wildlife. At the end of the promenade is a great playground for the kids! the only problem is that there are no baby swings. I had to carry my little guy the whole time we were there because there was not much for him to do. My 2 year old loved it! on Fridays during the summer they have concerts in the park. Bring a blanket and listen to the music on the water! Such a fun activity for the whole family!

"Playground and a beautiful walk"
Tydings Park has a great playground for the kids. They have swings, slides, monkey bars, ropes, balance bar and music for the kids! This is a great park. The ground is lined with mulch..so it won't hurt too much when the kids fall. They also have a beautiful promenade that wraps around the head of the Chesapeake Bay.
