"Super scary"

It seems like it shouldn't be that scary, but even for me as an adult, I would be hesitant to go on this. When I went as a teenager, but little sister (I think she was about 12) was TERRIFIED. Like screaming, kicking and yelling to get off terrified. So, be forewarned when you take kids. But overall, I love the theme of it and how they take you through the story-line. Just the actual drops can be pretty intimidating!

"Twilight Zone!!"

We used the rider swap for this ride due to our children not being old enough to ride.  This ride is always amazing when I ride it.  The story at the beginning is well told and the drops are great.  I always have to watch the movie Tower of Terror when I get home from disney after riding this ride.  I would highly recommend riding this ride.  :)

"Thrilling!"

This is my favorite ride at Hollywood Studios and maybe even all of Disney World. Sadly my daughter does not share my love.  She rode it at age 6 and she did not like it.  The beginning is dark, but it was the ride itself that scared her.  She does not weigh a lot and her bottom left the seat during the drop.

"Use the baby swap!"

My husband and I wanted to go on this ride, but a couple of our kids were too short/young.  We asked the cast member at the entrance of the ride for a rider swap.  It allowed me to go with our boys for one ride and then swap so my husband could go.  It also allows for 1 or 2 people to go with him so he didn't have to ride alone and the boys got to ride twice!  The ride is a dark, scary ride.  The beginning show is what really sets the tone for the ride and scared my boys before we got on the ride.  The first drop is the best though, and my boys were ready to go again, but they were quite wary of the elevator at the hotel that night!

"My 4 year old's favorite ride!"

My 4 year old absolutely ADORED this ride -- she calls it the Up and Down ride.  I think she pretty much ignored the ghost part at the beginning -- she called that the "fuzzy people part".  I was worried that she might be scared by it, but I think the scary part was just over her head (my 8 year old, though, was a little scared by the first part of the ride).  My 4 year old shrieked with laughter all through the up and down part of the ride, and wanted to ride this one repeatedly (mom's stomach could only take so much, though).

"So much fun!!"

OMG we had so much fun in this ride. Its not for every one though!!
However, I must say in my recent trip to Disney, when I rode this ride I felt it was shorter than before. I would loved if it went on for a tad bit longer. The set up was great, the entire structure suited the ride so well.

"Best ride in Hollywood Studios!"

The Tower of Terror is the best ride in Hollywood Studios! Although the theming can be a bit frightening to young children, the ride is extremly safe and a lot of fun. Ride sequences are random, so you never know exactly when the elevator will drop or rise up. I recommend showing very young children clips of the ride online, or Disney's Tower of Terror film to get them prepared for the "haunted" theming.

The ride is extremely safe and you are seat-belted in the entire time. My daughter thought you had to stand up as the elevator went up and down, and was scared to ride at first. So, prepare young kids for the ups and downs, and they will love it!

"One of the reasons I tolerate Disney"

My wife and kids love Disney.   I just tolerate it, however she knows that to keep me happy she needs to give me time to ride towerr of terror at least a couple of times.    I get fasspasses ad go while they are at Disney Jr .   The new ride sequences are greaat.    I cannot wait until my son is big enough to go.

"Twilight Tower of Terror"

This is a favorite of parents and kids alike. The line is normally very long but the thrill is amazing. You never know what to expect as far as drop times. Just watch out this is another Disney Store trap where you have to exit thru a store. Just make sure you don't ride just after eating, I have seen a few people get sick on this one.

"Tower of Terror"

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ride! Unfortunately I only got to ride my FAVORITE ride once this year:( Thats fine though because we had a blast! Anyway, this ride is more for the older kids because it really scares the little kids. It is based of the shoe "The Twilight Zone" and puts you in the position of the people on the elevator as you go into... THE TWILIGHT ZONE (buh buh buuuuh)

"Thrilling Ride!....not for faint of heart!"

This is one of my favorite rides at Disney World.   This is a must-do for me each time I visit.  The ride attendants really get into character and can creep you out!  The hotel part before you get into the actual ride is awesome.  They took such great care in getting great decor for the hotel and there are a lot of little nods to the Twilight Zone show, which I love.  The actual ride is so creepy that it will get your heart racing, no matter how many times you ride it.  The story is great and by time you reach the top, your blood pressure will be through the roof!  I love the fact that the drops are random.  You never get the same experience twice.  I will recommend catching this ride first thing in the morning or even during the parade.  During one parade, I went back and forth between the Tower of Terror and the Rockin Roller Coaster several times and ended up riding the Tower of Terror 8 times and the Rockin Roller Coaster 7 times, all with no wait!  If you don't mind missing the parade, I would highly recommend going then!

"Tower of Terror"

This is my all time favorite Ride when it comes to Disney anything, I absolutely Love Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, I convinced my sister and my mom to ride it, I explained basically what happens, that you somewhat get a warning sign that your going to drop to help ease my sister, she hates height, well while through the whole thing my sister was hiding in my mom's arms, and after it was all said and done, after the ride was over, my sister started balling, she hated the ride and elevators, I had to apologize to her for making her cry, but she can now say she had survived the Tower of Terror

"SO. MUCH. FUN."

On par with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, this ride is by far one of the  most thrilling in the park. The mixture of the awesome sets and creepy atmosphere add to the drama as you drop down an elevator shaft.
This ride, even the wait in line, is not for the faint of heart as it is quite thrilling (and quite fun!!).
There is a fastpass for this ride, but you still have to wait a good 15 minutes from the point you meet up with the rest of the line so plan accordingly.

"Unexpected drops"

This attraction is a great combination of a haunted hotel and a thrill packed elevator ride.  The story is told as you wander through the Hollywood Tower Hotel and into the mysterious elevators.  It was just as much fun seeing what spooky things were displayed as it was dropping in the elevator.  We used FASTPASSES and ride swaps so our toddler would not experience the terror.  The teenagers loved it!
