Of all the baseball stadiums my family has been to, Turner Field is by far the largest and most comfortable. The concourses are huge, there's plenty of places to eat and you never feel cramped. The Braves may not always be good, but you can always have a good time at Turner. There are large well-lit parking lots on the stadium grounds, but you will have to deal with people asking for money as you walk to the gates.
Each year the Braves offer a way for families to come to the Ballpark fairly inexpensively. We went to several games this last year and got the $1 seats that they offer. Our biggest expense was parking.
Of course, no strollers are welcome here, so don't plan on using one.
They have lots of interactive activities down Scouts Alley and in the Cartoon Network Toon Town area. Some are free but some require tokens that you can buy at Braves Customer Service.
They often offer giveaways. This year we got free t-shirts for the whole family, water bottles for the whole family, and more.
In addition, based on where you park, you can also get free things like samples, coupons, and Braves promotionals materials for free as you're walking to the ballpark.
$1 seats rock!!!
Turner Field is an awesome place to watch baseball games. You can get some great deals for buying tickets cheap. The kids love running the bases after the games and watching fireworks if the Braves win. They even have some really great concerts after the games without any extra cost. You can take your own food in which is a plus and a money saver too.
I have been to quite a few games at Turner field. I have a few big Braves fans in my family, so many a summer did we trek to Turner field to watch a game. Baseball really is the all-American sport, and (though you can't avoid the beer and drunk fans) Turner Field is a great place to make family memories with your children. (Even if you're cheering on the opponent!) The giant Coca-Cola bottle is a real kid-pleaser, and it really is fun to watch the fireworks go off when the Braves win!
We visited Turner Field this past summer and we had a lot of fun! I've always been a baseball fan, and a Chipper Jones fan, but Turner Field is a great place to take the family. There is plenty to entertain the whole family even thought it might mean missing a few innings to go to the kid zone. Look for special when you can see a concert right after the game. We went on the day the Beach Boys played. It was awesome!
Turner Field, home of the Atlanta braves, is an EXCELLENT destination for families. If you check ticket prices, there are really great deals to be had such as package deals with food and programs, or buy one get one free tickets. There is an excellent museum on the ground level and you can even let your children run the bases on the field after the game. AWESOME experience!
The view is great, the sport is great, the food is beyond greasy great, and the players are wonderful as well. Definitely an all-American favorite pastime and a great place to do it. If you need to go cheaper, you can always get the higher seats while still enjoying the overall thrill of being in the stadium. Not necessarily the best place for young children because of all of the steps and sitting, but definitely family friendly.
If you have time to enjoy a braves game when in town do so . All the games are funand you can get tickets for less than $10 bucks. You can also pack your own food just no glass or cans. We get subs or a bucket of chicken and enjoy the food during the game. We love the fact that you can bring your own food. The food also has to be in a soft cooler.
