Tucker Tower at Lake Murray State Park

Pack a picnic lunch and hike from your campsite (or drive) to this fabulous tower overlooking Lake Murray!  Tucker Tower stands on a cliff on the Southern Edge of the Ardmore Basin and has activities and tours at 1 and 4pm daily during the summer.  Inside the nature center you'll find half of a giant meteorite, the skull of a mastodon, an animal skull collection as well as insects, rocks and other exhibits.  The guides are full of information and are happy to answer questions!
