"A Great Easy Educational Hike."

The nature park is conviently located in Beaverton. It has a very beautiful and easy hiking trail. The park also offers many classes and camps to teach kids about nature. My son attended a one week half day camp and really enjoyed it. They would walk one part of the trail each day and learn about different kind of animals.

"a nice park"

This is a great park if you have an older kid or a baby.  Toddlers have a hard time here as the paths aren't really paved and there are lots of dips, etc.  If you have a baby make sure to wear the baby - a stroller is pretty much out.  A great place to see nature and explore.
The big downfall is that there are a lot of homeless people at this park.  It also isn't safe after dark, so be careful.

"Very peaceful and easy to get to"

We've been here several times.  We like to use our backpack carrier here as you are somewhat limited with a stroller.  That being said, we have taken our stroller and there are definitely trails that are stroller friendly.

It is a beautiful place to walk with lots of trails.  It is a surpisingly large park that is primarily wooded.  Trails for the most part are woodchip.

Definitely pick up a map before you head in as it can get confusing!  Fortunately the trails are well marked.

We've seen lots of wildlife in the park.  We usually go on the weekend and even though lots of people are there, you can go quite awhile without seeing anyone.  I would not be comfortable going here by myself.  Recommend having a buddy with you.

From time to time the park has native plant sales.  This is a great way to buy inexpensive natives!

"Nice walking/running trails in nature"

I worked in the area and used to go for walks at lunch time here with friends.  After having my little one we still get together with friends for walk.  Many of the trails are wheelchair/stroller ready so if you little one isn't able to walk for a long distance, you are covered.  They also have 'off-road' trails to explore as well.

There is a center for kids to go in and learn about nature.  We haven't been in there yet, so I can't really speak to it.

During the week/day time, the place is really safe as there are lots of people walking or running (especially on sunny days!).  As it gets later, there can be some folks that you might want to avoid or at the very least have a buddy with you (and take your cell phone).
