The 554-acre Trough Creek State Park is a scenic gorge created by Trough Creek as it cuts through Terrace Mountain and empties into Raystown Lake. If you want to stay in comfort in a beautiful forested setting, Trough Creek Lodge, at Trough Creek State Park, is available for rental year-round. It is a two-story home built in the 1800s as an ironmaster’s house. Now completely renovated, it offers a modern eat-in kitchen, four bedrooms, a bathroom, and central heat. The lodge is fully accessible for people with disabilities.
