You will hear and see just what goes into the manufacturing the Camry, Avalon and Venza vehicles that roll of the line each day. The tour guides will lead you through portions of the 7.5 million square foot facility via an electric tram. The tour begins in Stamping where you will see cars take shape from huge coils of rolled up steel. Then move to Body Weld where these stamped pieces are put together. Watch as a team of computer-controlled robots perform the welds that result in a completed body shell. Look up and see overhead conveyors transport the cars from Paint, to the Final Line in Assembly.
The tram driven tour takes approximately an hour and a half.
Admission to the Visitor Center and plant tour is free. Reservations are strongly encouraged!
Children traveling with families must be in first grade or above to take the tour. Visitors must also present a valid photo ID.

TMMK’s Visitor Center will suspend the public tour program  until May 1, 2011. The tours are being suspended due to construction in the plant. Although there will be no tours given through the plant, the visitor center will remain open for the public to view the displays and the “virtual tour” video. Reservations are not required for the virtual tour. To make a reservation for May 2011 please call 1-800-866-4488.
