Pop on some 3D glasses and go for an interactive ride which allows riders to play games and compete against one another while riding in a fun cart.
I am addicted to this ride. Yes, the line can often be long, but there is a reason- it is so much fun! Riders put on 3D glasses and play carnival games for points. The concept sounds simple but the 3D is very realistic and special added touches such as a spray of water when you pop a water balloon make the experience special. The ride is good for all ages and has nothing scary or fast to worry about. If you have older children, consider avoiding the lines by taking advantage of single rider. Cast Members will give you passes to basically skip the line and act as seat fillers for parties with an odd number of people. This means you may not be able to sit next to a loved one but I since the ride is so interactive, I don't think you will miss out on anything by sitting next to a stranger.
This interactive ride is so much fun and worth the wait as there is currently no fastpass option for Toy Story Mania.
I try to hit this ride as I enter the park as lines are shorter on that side of things before the rest of the crowd makes it over that way.
The fun of this ride is the competition between kids & parents. You compete to play a series of carnival games with all the Toy Story characters, and the games are even in 3D!!
My 1-year-old baby did enjoy this ride as well (even though she didn't really participate), but be warned that the carts move around very quickly, so make sure you feel very secure when you are strapped in.
