"Birds eye view"
The Tower of the Americas is one of the landmark sites on the skyline of San Antonio. What a thrill it was to ride to the observation deck on the elevator with a view of the city through the large window!
The outside observation deck is completely enclosed with large picture windows for amazing views. Telescopes with platforms are scattered all around for kids and adults to look out of. The inner deck of the observation platform has a cafe and tables to enjoy a snack. Lots of interpretative signs are available for help in determining the view.
I loved going up in the tower but I wished I had lots more time to explore the area, including taking a ride on the 4D Skies over Texas!
