Tower Fall has a 132 foot drop, surrounded by eroded volcanic pinnacles. Thomas Moran painted the amazing setting, along with many other artists.  Well maintained trail.  Trail head begins at the Tower Falls Store.

"Tower Falls, YNP"

Tower Falls is a great stop for families because it's a short hike to a gorgeous waterfall.  It's much smaller than the grand canyon waterfall but still breathtaking.  For those who would like to venture little farther, you can actually continue down the trail to the roaring river at the bottom.  There you'll find a vast beach area perfect for little ones to throw a few rocks in the water!  There are also some great bolders there for a family photo op!
